The Porch, Nashville’s nonprofit literary arts organization, celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2024 with a lineup of special events and surprises. To kick things off, The Porch’s annual storytelling show Heartbreak Happy Hour visits The Blue Room for an extra-special edition featuring a spoken word set from acclaimed writer and musician Dessa, with support from Chicago-based writer Megan Stielstra and music from Nashville artist Eva Cassell. WXNA’S DJ Paul Burch will spin thematically appropriate songs of heartbroken and lusty souls.
