Dessa live recording with the Minnesota Orchestra

On March 26th and 28th of 2019, Dessa will perform and record live with the Minnesota Orchestra in Minneapolis. That means Doomtree Records will be releasing a collaboration with a Grammy-winning orchestra (truly incredible, my friends). The set lists for these shows will draw from Chime, Parts of Speech, A Badly Broken Code, and some brand-new material too—all arranged by the powerhouse Andy Thompson (who will partner with Lazerbeak to produce the final recording). The inimitable Sarah Hicks will conduct and I’ll be joined on stage by vocalists Aby Wolf, Matthew Santos, Cameron Kinghorn, and Ashley DuBose as well as percussionist Joey Van Phillips.
